So I will detail 4 ways that can keep and save your relationship from breaking up.

After I have detailed the 4 ways you will understand the basics that any relationship must have in order to keep going strong and helping each other. So important are these basic fundamental steps that without them you are doomed to failure and a broken relationship. That's why it's important for you follow what I am about to say because it just might save your relationship or at least enhance it to the degree that you want it to be.

1. Communication.

This is one of the most important steps of them all. You can almost forget everything else because without letting your partner know of your true inner feelings nothing else will work. You need to let your thoughts and aspirations be known otherwise who is to know what you're thinking? Communication can go both ways however, it can improve or destroy a relationship.

But if you're truly honest with yourself and you truly want to make the relationship work then communicating this to your partner will come across as genuine and your inner self being expressed emotionally and maturely.

2. Trust.

Another big investment in a relationship. You must have total trust in each other. Without this quality in a relationship you are also doomed. Sure communication is important but without trusting each other it's almost a moot point. You must trust yourself in order to trust your partner. This attribute must come second handed that is without thinking in order to make the relationship work and be in harmony.

3. Honesty.

Honesty is on the same level of trust but honesty comes with the territory of trust. If you don't trust yourself how are you to trust your partner? Being honest with each other by communicating and trusting is part of the fundamental criteria for keeping a relationship well.

4. Gifts.

Gifts don't have to cost a thing. I remember when I was in military duty far away from home in a far away country that the highlight of my day was a letter from home. It could be a postcard from Mom or a letter from my girlfriend. It didn't matter what it said. What mattered is that someone took the time to write to me. I devoured those words like you wouldn't believe.
Leaving post it notes around in the morning to the tune of "I love you" can do wonders for the relationship.
So give a gift of appreciation tomorrow morning in a post it note in a lunch box or on the steering wheel of the car and see what happens with attitude? You'll be surprised and you'll do both yourselves a favor.
